It involves the careful correction and refinement of bodywork surfaces largely with machine polishing to remove swirl marks, scratches, marring and to restore fading in paintwork, trim, headlights and wheels.
This is done using a variety of machine polishing techniques and careful inspections of every inch of your vehicle. Including paint depth measurements and imitation sunlight to obtain the ultimate finish.
Do not be fooled by anyone claiming they are a car detailer, it takes years to master and knowledge of paint depths, hardness and techniques are essential as in the wrong hands, machine polishing can cause serious damage to your vehicle. If you see someone advertising a cheap £100-150 service just take into consideration;

Autogleam Paintwork Enhancement: From £249
The entry level detailing treatment suited to those whose vehicles have light paint defects and largely need a lift in terms of depth and gloss. The results can leave a better than new finish to the vehicle.
Autogleam Two Stage Paint Correction: From £399
For those vehicles with more severe swirling and defects, a two stage correction may be required. This involves the use of a slightly more abrasive polish to remove these defects followed by a second stage to refine the finish and leave a stunning paintwork finish.
Autogleam Full Correction: POA
This treatment may require your vehicle for up to one week and is the careful refining of each and every part of the bodywork to as good as it can be achieved. This may involve wet sanding, stone chip repair, heavy polishing and refining.
